What is vivatap®?

vivatap® is a drinking water improving agent. One sachet is enough for 0.5-2.0 liters of water.


Why use vivatap®?

vivatap® gives you a fresher, purer and better tap water. The packet is very light
and easy to use also when travelling.


What are the ingredients in vivatap®?

Each packet contains natural ingredients (calcium ascorbate – an anti-oxidant ingredient , acerola powder, rose hip powder, rutin, lemon oil) from the Arctic Sea: coral algae (plants that form a hard mineral shell), ground shell sand and chitosan.

Although derived from shellfish, the chitosan is purified and is said to pose no risk to those with a shellfish allergy.


How does vivatap® improve tap water?

All the chlorine is instantly removed, and up to 100% of E.coli, Pseudomonas, Salmonella bacteria etc are eliminated, according to reports from accredited laboratories. vivatap® also releases healthy minerals and trace elements into the water. The result is a healthier drinking water which tastes fresher and better.


How do we use vivatap®?

In one packet of vivatap® natural there are 30 tea bag sachets, each capable of treating 0,5-2 liters of tap water. Just fill a bottle or a jug with 0,5-2 liters of tap water, drop one sachet vertically into the water (do not open the sachet). Shake or stir well for 3-4 seconds. Allow the sachet to work in the water for at least 5-10 minutes before drinking.


Where do the ingredients come from?

The coral algae and shell sand are harvested in a regulated area in very pure waters outside the Norwegian coast, and they are calcified and not a threatened
species. The antioxidant preparation is a high quality product manufactured in EU under GMP guidelines and is free from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The raw material of the chitosan is harvested in the North Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean.


How can vivatap® remove bacteria and heavy metals?

Chitosan is a natural polymer made from shrimps and other shellfish. It has anti bacteria effect, and it has also the ability to combine heavy metals like mercury into complexes. The Norwegian Institute for Water Research has in the NIVA (Norvegian institute for water research)
report SNO 4465-2001 written that vivatap® reduced the level of mercury from water of Lake Rore. The accredited laboratory AnalyCen confirmed in 2001 that vivatap® reduced the mercury content of tap water added mercury.

How is chlorine removed?

The vivatap® mixture removes all the free and combined chlorine. The chlorine is converted into salts, ions, hydrochloric acid (natural part of stomach acid) etc.


What minerals and trace elements does vivatap® contain?

vivatap® contains minerals and trace elements like calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, manganese, zink, iron etc.


Does vivatap® affect the pH value of the water?

Unlike some other coral algae products, vivatap®
contains a built-in mechanism that prevents pH in getting too high. Normally vivatap® treated water achieve a pH value between 7.5 and 8.5, but in cases where pH in the water initially is very acidic, vivatap® is not able to raise the pH so much.


Can we use vivatap® in other ways?

Yes, many people use vivatap® in their coffea or tea. This will give a rounder taste. You can also use vivatap® in red wine to obtain a rounder and less acidic taste.
Several sensitive people have also told us that when using vivatap® in their red wine, they do not get a headache when enjoying a glass. You can also use vivatap® treated water for watering and showering your plants, they love it. Some plants like dracaenas are sensitive to chlorinated water, and can easily get brown tips. vivatap® treated water can improve their condition, just try it.
